TRABZON
Trabzon has been a major trade center through history for long Once an importend stop on the Silk Road, it remains the Black Sea’s busiest port. Trabzon today offers many historical, cultural and natural sights and function as the cultural capital of the Turkish Black Sea coast. The city has dozens of churches and mosques dating from the Byzantine period, the Empire of Trebizond and the Ottoman Empire.
Day 1
Transfer for flight to Trabzon. Meet at Trabzon airport. Transfer to hotel and check-in. Sumela Monastery, Altındere Valley, National Park, Lunch, Silk Road, Zigana, Karaca Cave, Hamsiköy, Boztepe. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Hagia Sophia, Trabzon Castle, Atatürk Mansion, Girl’s Monastery, Ortamahalle. Dinner at hotel and overnight.
Day 3
Uzungöl, Lunch at a trout restaurant. Demirkapı Pasture, Balıklıgöl, Ayder, Kuşpuni Mountain House.
RİZE
Rize is known as the picturesque tea-growing area in Türkiye. 75kms away from Trabzon. The name Rize comes from the world meaning “Mountain slopes”. İn the Catholic Church’s list Rhizaeum was onces part of the late Roman Province of Pontus Pole Moni acus.
Day 4
Çamlıhemşin, Storm Valley, Kaçkar Mountains, Palovit Waterfall. Lunch at a Riverside Restaurant, Rize Castle, Zil Castle, Rize Cloth Weaving Atelier, Sürmene. Return to Trabzon. Dinner at hotel.
Day 5
Transfer for flight to İstanbul.
